 Practicing good forest management has long been a way of life at Northland Timber & Logging. The most common tool in managing forestland is harvesting timber. A well-planned harvest will create room for the growth of wildlife food plants and their inhabitants while increasing the vitality of the forest. Trails will be created to allow greater access for recreational activities including hiking, mushrooming, horseback riding, hunting and firewood Removal. Additionally, a managed harvest will increase sunlight for smaller trees, promoting growth.
